The author notes that when using low infill and self-tapping type screws, the screws can be driven directly into the printed material (such as PLA). Included Parts The download includes a STEP file (MatterHackers_Enclosure_Handle.step) to allow for customization of the holes, and an STL file (MatterHackers_Enclosure_Handle_V2.stl). Printing and Assembly Guidance The author reports that the part prints in under an hour. For printing, a minimum of four top and bottom shells is recommended. The author used 5% infill for their version. Note that printing at high speeds may result in underextrusion. To customize the holes using the STEP file, separate the top from the bottom and export them as individual STL files.
