The ring is designed for a snug fit over the default rubber tire to prevent slipping. Assembly Instructions: - One side of the ring features an inside edge/lip; this edge must face the inside of the car. - Remove the wheel/tire from the car, slide the ring on with the correct orientation, and remount the wheel. Print Settings: - Material: The author recommends PETG for impact resistance and durability on hard surfaces. - Infill: 100% (solid layers are required for structural integrity and longevity). The size of the exit part can be adjusted by scaling or modifying the line width in the slicer to ensure a tight seal. The author used silicone grease for quieter and smoother operation and fixed the part in place with superglue. The author lists Geeetech Black TPU 95A as the filament used.
