Model information
Description
Protective cover for DC Binding Posts
Purpose
This model consists of two TPU covers designed to provide insulation for the backside of DC binding posts. They are intended to cover bare, uninsulated M8 bolts and nuts located inside a battery enclosure, such as an ammo box, to prevent accidental contact.
Practical Uses
These covers are used in battery pack setups where binding posts are mounted through a container wall. They provide a safety solution for the exposed hardware (bolts and terminals) on the interior side of the mounting point, making them suitable for outdoor applications like astronomy setups.

<p>I made a battery pack using an ammo box and a 12V, 4S LiFePO4 set of cells.
