Two designs intended to prevent wires from becoming an inclusion in the gears and to allow inspection and access to the spur differential nut and motor mess screws without altering, cutting, or destroying the injection molded black gear cover. The author recommends 100% infill and the maximum number of walls possible for the nozzle diameter. The author prefers using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer heights for small items like this. These use the two original motor cover screws. Versions: - V1: A minimal version. Weighs 0.9 grams. - V2: Includes the addition of a pinion gear shroud. Requires removable printing supports. Weighs 1.5 grams. The author reports the stock injection molded black gear cover weighs 5.5 grams.
