Published description
X-Ray M18T (RC car) battery holder
Purpose
This model is designed to accommodate larger batteries, such as a 2s 1100 mAh LiPo, within the X-Ray M18T chassis. Because these larger batteries do not fit standardly and tend to stand on edge on the rim, this part raises the floor to the rim level to create a flat mounting surface.
Practical Uses
It provides a stable platform for oversized batteries that would otherwise be unstable. The design includes a dedicated channel to accommodate a reusable cable tie (for example, a "Workzone 250x7.5mm") to function as a battery strap.

Assembly Guidance
The part is intended to be held in place by a tight fit, though the author suggests using thin double-sided tape or a small amount of silicone to secure the holder to the car. The base plate features pre-drilled holes for mounting; however, extreme caution must be taken during assembly to ensure that screws never puncture the battery, as this poses a fire risk.
