Whistling bomb!!!
Purpose
This model is a remix of JeremyBoswell's Whistling Bomb, featuring longer tail fins. It is designed to function as a dropping system for RC aircraft, allowing for controlled deployment of a whistling projectile.
Practical Uses
When used with an RC plane, the user can trigger the release by manipulating the turning joystick to slide a component off the stick. This causes the projectile to fall to the ground while producing a loud whistling sound. Note that users should avoid blocking sensors with tape or the rocket itself, as this may cause the drone to incorrectly detect that it has already landed.
Included Parts
- Remix of JeremyBoswell's Whistling Bomb but longer tail fins.stl
- Remix of JeremyBoswell's Whistling Bomb but longer tail fins.gcode
Assembly Guidance
To facilitate the dropping mechanism, a small, long needle (preferably plastic, such as a Kerplunk game piece) must be fitted into the tail fin at the back of the print. For optimal flight effects, it is recommended to add weight specifically to the front 1/3 of the missile.

<p>Dropping whistling bombs is extremely fun, but control over where you bomb is so much better - and important! So that's why I rigged up a new - better way. </p><p>All you need to do is find a small but long needle (preferably plastic for weight) like a Kerplunk game piece so that it fits in the tail fin in the back of the print so then when you fly it up in the sky, if you hold the turning joystick so that it slides off the stick and fall down to the ground with a <strong>real loud whistle!</strong></p><p><strong>Just keep in mind of the sensors because if you block them with tape, or the rocket, your drown will not land!!! ( It will think its already on the ground )</strong></p><blockquote><p>Only bomb targets with consent 😉</p></blockquote><p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> add some weight only in the front ⅓ of the missile for better affect</p><p>Modelling Credit and tester - Josh P!</p><p><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/983010/rich_content/d2a061b0-c73a-460d-b7cc-58e1a985c747/img_2383.jpeg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22a11490d1-cbab-4494-80f0-914f8625431d%22%2C%22w%22%3A3024%2C%22h%22%3A4032%7D"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/983010/rich_content/d07ebaa3-3c73-4096-9600-8e594e774197/img_2382.jpeg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2232c603cd-e8b6-4ccf-8959-e7ab0adabdaf%22%2C%22w%22%3A3024%2C%22h%22%3A4032%7D"></p>
