Model information
Description
Purpose:
This mount is designed to attach a CR Touch probe to a Microswiss NG Toolhead when used on a custom X axis Ender 3 Pro.
Practical Uses:
To install the mount to the extruder stepper motor, two M3x25 screws and two M3 washers are required to replace the stock screws.
Included Parts
- Microswiss NG Cr Touch Mount.3mf
- Microswiss NG Cr Touch Mount (heatset insert version).3mf
- microswiss ng cr touch mount.step
Printing/Assembly Guidance:
Print with the flange on the build plate using PETG or ABS for heat resistance. Recommended settings include a 0.2 mm layer height, infill greater than 20%, 3+ perimeters, and 3+ top/bottom layers. While supports are not required, the author notes they may improve the underside finish. The author provides CAD-calculated probe offsets (X: -47.25, Y: -10, Z: 2.110), but notes that Z offset must be manually recalibrated for individual machines and printed parts.
