Creality CR-10 All-In-One (AIO) Prusa Style
Purpose
This work-in-progress project is designed to reorganize a Creality CR-10 into a Prusa i3 style configuration. The objective is to mount the LCD at the front of the machine while housing the control board, MOSFET, fans, and power supply in the rear. The design utilizes magnets to allow for easy access to the panels.
Practical Uses
This model serves as a housing solution for users looking to consolidate electronics. It is intended for advanced users, as the author notes it is not for beginners. It requires significant custom work, including additional wiring, crimping, connectors, superglue, and fasteners.
Included Parts
The project includes 3MF files for the power supply case and lid, the control box case and lid, and the LCD case (front, back, and mount). STEP files are also provided for the LCD Mount, CR-10 Control Box, and CR-10 power supply to allow for manual alterations.
Assembly Guidance
Assembly requires magnets (to be glued to lids and cases), an LCD cable, heat-set inserts, and wire loom. The author notes that some heat-set inserts may be difficult to install. Additionally, the holes for the power plug and power switch in the power supply case may require manual enlargement by approximately 2mm to accommodate components.
