AC Clip for Honda Civic
Purpose
This clip is designed to address an issue in 2016-2018 Honda Civics where the dashboard AC vents lack the tension to stay in a desired position, causing the flaps to continually tilt upward. The clip locks the driver-side AC vent into a horizontal position.
Practical Uses
It prevents the vent flaps from tilting up while still allowing them to be temporarily tilted downward. It serves as a quick fix for maintaining vent orientation.

Printing and Assembly Guidance
The author recommends printing in ASA if possible, noting that PLA lacks sufficient temperature resistance for long-term use in hot vehicles, and ABS lacks necessary UV resistance for sun exposure. The author utilized 100% infill to prevent internal pockets of hot air from expanding, though they noted this difference may be negligible due to the small size of the clip. Reference the included pictures in the source to determine the correct placement within the AC vent.
