ESParto Cyberdeck ESP32 Remote Control
The Esparto is an ESP32-based transmitter designed for controlling robots and buggies via WiFi or Bluetooth. The enclosure features an OLED screen for status indication, two joysticks with integrated buttons, three additional function buttons, and a switched external USB port for powering extra devices. It includes a 10mm grid of 3mm holes for mounting future modules. The author printed this on a Bambu Labs X1 using a 0.2mm layer height throughout and notes it can be printed on any machine. BOM: - 1x ESP32-WROOM-32D development board - 1x 0.91" I2C OLED screen - 1x Battery charger board (3.3v output) for 18650 cell - 2x Dual-axis joystick modules - 1x Mini rocker switch - 3x Mini momentary push button switches - Various 2.5mm standoffs - Recommended hardware: 6x 8mm nylon spacers for button mounts (or 6mm with an additional 2mm nut), 4x 6mm nylon spacers for battery module, 3mm nuts as spacers for joysticks, and various M3 screws (author used M3x10 throughout). Note: The 05-Dec-2022 update includes an improved OLED screen mount with sockets for screw shafts to prevent wire interference when fitting the lid.
