Purpose This model was designed to mount a brushless motor to an RC plane. Practical Uses The mount is intended for use in RC aircraft applications to secure a motor in place. Included Parts - RC Motormount.stl Assembly Guidance The motor is mounted using M3 bolts through holes located on the top part of the mount. The mount itself is attached to the plane using M2 screws.

Sig Wonder brushless conversion motor mount

A motor mount for a Sig Wonder balsa RC aircraft produced by Sig Mfg. The author states this mount was designed to use the original glow engine firewall screws and provide mounting for a brushless motor. The author reports using a 35-36 1400KV motor with an 8" prop, 3S LiPo, and 60A ESC. In V2, the author removed a 1mm offset to the left so the motor is centered and added more strength to the firewall mounting holes. Files: Sig Wonder Motor Mount.stl
