An automatic mechanical shutdown system for the Creality CR-10 3D printer to be used after print completion. The author suggests it is preferable to use ABS plastic for this project. Mandatory final script to wait for extruder nozzle cooldown to avoid baking plastic in the nozzle: G1 X0 Y280 F4000 ; harvest M109 R50 T0 ; wait for cooldown T0 nozzle to 50 degrees M104 S0 ; turn off extruder G1 X0 Y293 F4000 ; switch off The author notes to make sure your printer supports these commands.
