While the Extreme Beast RC car has plenty of power, the stock steering setup can feel a bit loose and imprecise. I designed this custom steering mechanism to fix the tolerances and focus on handling rather than just raw speed.

Important Note on the Design: Unlike the stock component, I designed this with a specific 3.2 mm opening to act as a clip-on part. You don't need to struggle with the stock mounting method — this custom part simply clips securely right into place!

Key improvements:

Clip-On Installation: Features a custom 3.2 mm opening (not found on the stock part) that allows the mechanism to securely clip onto the assembly.

Optimized Tolerances: Increased the internal diameter by 0.1 mm to prevent binding while maintaining a snug, precise fit.

Better Handling: Significantly improves grip and directional control at higher speeds by eliminating steering slop.

Files included:

.stl
for direct printing.

.step
file included if you want to remix or adjust the tolerances for your specific setup!

Print Settings:

Material: PLA is perfectly fine for testing and standard use, but consider PETG if you drive your RC car aggressively or in hot weather.

Infill: 40-60% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended for mechanical strength).

Perimeters (Walls): 3 or 4 perimeters for extra durability around the screw holes and stress points.

Supports: Yes
