Description
A custom steering mechanism designed for the Extreme Beast RC car to improve precision and handling. The author notes that this design features a 3.2 mm opening to allow the part to clip securely onto the assembly, unlike the stock component. To prevent binding, the author increased the internal diameter by 0.1 mm.
Print Settings:
- Material: The author states PLA is fine for testing and standard use, but suggests PETG for aggressive driving or hot weather.
- Infill: 40-60% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended for mechanical strength).
- Perimeters (Walls): 3 or 4 perimeters for durability around screw holes and stress points.
- Supports: Yes
