Custom 3D-printable molds for casting silicone sealing plugs for the PrintDry Pro, Pro2, Pro3, & Pro4. These are solid and designed to effectively plug all the holes and replace the existing 2 plug handles as well as the last two holes. In addition, there are 3 solid PETG plugs to pair with the silicone plugs that feature a hole, if you want to use the PrintDry Pro, Pro2, Pro3, and/or Pro4 for single-spool use. The author reports that the V2a and V2b versions are 0.2mm larger in diameter than the V1.
Pro-Tip for Installation: The silicone plugs can be coated in 90% IPA (isopropyl alcohol) to easily slide into place. Once the alcohol dries, they form a seal.
Casting & Assembly Instructions:
Prepare the Molds: The 2-half molds utilize M3 bolt holes to secure the two halves together.
Apply Adhesive: Place a small amount of glue stick on both mating halves—be very careful not to get any on the inside of the plug cavity.
Clamp: Sandwich the two PETG halves together, taking care to tighten the M3 bolts in a star pattern for even pressure for the V1 and V2a. The V2b is a single mold that does not require clamping.
Pour: Mix and pour your silicone into the mold. The author used 15A silicone. Scrape the top of the V2 molds a few times to gently remove excess.
Demold: Let it dry completely, remove the bolts, and pry the mold apart carefully. For the V2 versions, there is a split design for clamping the 2 halves together (V2a) and a single mold design (V2b). For both the V2 molds, use a plastic or PETG scraper to scrape off excess liquid silicone and let dry.

The V2a is easier with demolding because of the two halves, but they both work well. The V2 molds are 0.2mm larger in diameter thant the Original V1. I found the larger diameter fit better, but both are more functional than the stock, 2-plug handles.</p><p></p>
