Model information
Description
A mount for the CR Touch designed for the Microswiss NG Toolhead to be used on a custom X axis Ender 3 Pro. To attach the mount to the extruder stepper motor, two M3x25 screws and two M3 washers are required to replace the stock screws. The author includes two versions: a base part and a version designed to use heat set inserts. The author recommends printing in either ABS or PETG for added heat resistance over PLA.
Printing instructions:
- Print with the flange on the build plate.
- Material: PETG or ABS
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: >20%
- Perimeters: 3+
- Top/Bottom: 3+ layers
- Support: Supports are not required for this to print successfully, but the author found they help the undersides come out better.
Probe Offsets (calculated in CAD, Z calibrated manually on Klipper with textured PEI):
- X offset: -47.25
- Y offset: -10
- Z offset: 2.110 (The author notes this Z offset is to get you close and you should recalibrate your Z offset to account for variances in printed parts and individual machines.)
