Published description
Build a detailed 1:14 scale 40 ft High Cube freight container for an RC yard, loading dock or transport display. This MESHOPIA kit has a corrugated shell, ribbed roof, recessed front and two opening rear doors with miniature hinges and latch hardware.
Digital files only. No printed parts, adhesive, metal stock, trailer, truck, twistlocks or lifting equipment are included. Physical printing, assembly and endurance tests remain pending.
SCALE AND DIMENSIONS
- Scale: 1:14.
- Nominal outside dimensions: 870.857 × 174.143 × 206.857 mm (L × W × H).
- Full-size reference: 12,192 × 2,438 × 2,896 mm, 40 ft High Cube.
- Lower corner opening centre grid: 856.071 × 161.429 mm.
- Rear doorway: 167.143 × 184.643 mm.
The main dimensions and corrugations follow a supplied High Cube drawing. Wall thickness, glue lands, hinge journals and miniature hardware are adaptations for FDM printing. This is an independently modelled scale kit, not a certified engineering replica. The selected reference has no forklift pockets.
FEATURES AND FILES
Corrugated side walls continue across the section joins. The roof and front are ribbed; the two rear doors open and use removable metal hinge pins. Separate latch, keeper and bearing pieces add detail. The kit includes handed corner fittings, a front underside gooseneck tunnel, engraved floor panels, optional EVERGREEN side lettering and MESHOPIA rear marking artwork.
The downloadable archive contains the printable model package, project and documentation, including print and assembly information and marking artwork. The body is divided into sections with hidden alignment keys and backing pieces; a lower skirt conceals the floor edge and base joins. Dry-fit sections, keep the sides aligned during curing, and verify clearances before assembling.
