Published description
Build a detailed 1:14 scale 20 ft tank container for an RC transport scene, loading yard or display. MESHOPIA Tank20 combines a hollow cylindrical vessel, dished ends, blue end frames and detailed corner fittings in a modular, glue-assembled kit.
Digital download only. Printed parts, adhesive, truck, chassis, trailer and equipment are not included. This is the updated R02 kit with corrected upper projections and tank braces. The images are Blender renders, not photographs of a physical print.
SCALE AND SIZE
- Scale: 1:14.
- Nominal exterior: 432.714 × 174.143 × 185.071 mm (L × W × H).
- Hollow tank shell with a nominal 2 mm wall.
- Lower corner aperture centre grid: 418.071 × 161.357 mm.
The outer container envelope follows a standard 20 ft reference. The visible tank, frame and pipework proportions are an independent MESHOPIA interpretation informed by reference imagery; this is not a certified factory replica.
INCLUDED
- 58 unique STL files: 52 production files for 58 assembly components, plus a calibration cube, glue key, clearance coupons and spacing jig.
- Editable Blender project with 11 scenes, assembly and detail views, exploded model and print-part inspection.
- English assembly instructions, printing notes, BOM, per-part print recipes, generator scripts and digital validation reports.
The hidden keys, sleeves and locating features align the split pieces; three jacket bands cover tank-shell seams. There are no visible assembly screws. Dry-fit the parts, keep the frame square while adhesive cures, then fill and finish any remaining seam marks. Follow the included assembly order and check the clearance samples using your printer and adhesive.
Digital checks cover mesh closure, dimensions, corner placement, assembly clearances and sampled assembly paths; individual STL slicing evidence is included. Physical printing, fit, support removal, adhesive strength and handling tests remain pending. No payload, stacking, lifting or pressure rating is claimed. Decorative pipework and valves do not make this a functional liquid or gas vessel.
The lower fitting grid follows the MESHOPIA DryVan20 reference interface. Verify dimensions against your own chassis and twistlocks; compatibility with commercial systems is not established.
