Marker Pen Drawing Bot
Purpose
This model is a drawing bot designed to create random circular patterns. The author created this version using components repurposed from an RC boat toy.
Practical Uses
It serves as a remote-controlled drawing robot. The author notes that the bot's movement can be controlled using the remote controller from the original RC boat.
Included Parts
The model files include:
- Bracket.stl (three required)
- Top.stl
- Base.stl
- Weight.stl (multiple sizes required)
- Mount.stl
- Weight.step
Printing and Assembly Guidance
This is described as an easy print. Assembly requires three Brackets and several different sizes of the Weight. When adjusting the size of the Weight, the user should adjust the axle hole accordingly.
The author suggests using different Weight sizes to manage two specific issues: using a weight that is too large may cause the motor to melt the PLA, while a weight that is too light may cause the bot to simply spin without drawing effectively.

<p>Saw this made in acryl and wood, did my version with motor, battery, and main board from a RC boat toy. I also used the remote controller for the boat. Easy print, you need three of the Brackets, and a few different sizes of the Weight. Remember to adjust axel hole when you adjust size of Weight. I found two reasons to have different Weights, first one is heat, to big of a Weight, your motor could melt the PLA. Second reason is movement, to light and it just spins. Have fun with someone, and try it out…</p>
