Manta MK2 CR Touch Mount Center Mount
Purpose
This model is designed for the Manta MK2 Ender V1/V2 system to allow the CR Touch to be used as the sensor instead of the BLTouch.
Practical Uses
It serves as a center mount for the CR Touch. When installing, the user suggests using the included spacer to adjust the CR Touch approximately 3mm above the nozzle to prevent crashes or incorrect Z-offset readings. Users may also use the 2mm side of the spacer or flush the CR Touch to the bed, though the 3mm spacing is recommended.
Included Parts
The files provided include the Manta CR Touch V3 STL and a 3MF file.
Printing and Assembly Guidance
For printing, the source suggests using PETG, ABS, or stronger materials rather than PLA. If using a high-temperature setup, use high-temperature resistant materials. Recommended print settings include a layer height of 1.6mm or 2.0mm and 100% infill. For ABS and PETG, a speed of 40mm/s is suggested.
During assembly, installation involves using washers, screws through the CR Touch and bracket, followed by a washer and a nut. The source notes an X/Y offset of X= -1.8 and Y= -37.5.
