Model information
Description
A center mount for the Manta MK2 Ender V1/V2 system to allow the CR Touch to be used as the sensor instead of the BLTouch.
When making the bracket, the author suggests using PETG, ABS, or a material stronger than PLA. If using a high-temperature setup, the author recommends using a material that can withstand high temperatures.
Installation instructions: Use the spacer to adjust the CR Touch at approximately 3mm above the nozzle (the author notes the spacer is the same one used to adjust the fans). When installing, use washers and screws through the CR Touch and bracket, followed by a washer and then a nut. The author notes that you can use the 2mm side of the spacer or even flush the CR Touch to the bed, though the author does not recommend using the bracket that way; spacing it 3mm above the nozzle is described as the best option to avoid crashes or unusual Z-offset spacing.
The author's reported X/Y Offset: X= -1.8, Y= -37.5.
Print Settings:
- Layer height: 2.0 or 1.6 (author prefers 1.6)
- Infill: 100%
- Speed: 40mm/s for ABS and PETG
