Información del modelo
Descripción
This model provides the files for a 1:10 scale Lanz Raupenbulldog. The project is no longer actively maintained, but the author notes it remains one of their most reliable models despite early development quirks.
Purpose
The model is designed to be used as a full RC-model, a load, or for individual parts.
Practical Uses
When configured as an RC vehicle, the model can clear snow or coarse dirt. Note that the included dozer blade features a closed bottom/flat design, which may prevent the user from dumping all material.
Included Parts
The file set includes various components such as the driver's cab (Fuehrerstand), tracks (Tracklink), sprocket, return rollers, motor covers, and an optional dozer blade (Schaufel). The tracks are designed to utilize M2 bolts with an internal nut. The model requires external hardware and electronics, specifically a motor and gearbox originally made for the Henglong 3898 Sherman, a 6-channel remote, a 2-channel ESC, and a standard 2S LiPo battery.
Printing and Assembly Guidance
File names are in German, though STEP files are provided to assist with placement. The author notes that some parts may feature butt-joints due to previous design choices. For assembly, anything not held together by screws can likely be glued. For blade articulation, the author suggests hot-gluing a servo into the cab and running a wire from the servo horn to the blade, using a tension spring to pull the blade down so the servo only performs lifting work.

These are the files for the Lanz Raupenbulldog I made in 2022.

You can see a video of it clearing some snow on my instagram ;)

The technical documentation is quite a bit worse than the other models I've uploaded here so far - but I'll hopefully make up for that with my future projects.

The File names are all in german but with the step files you should be able to figure out where everything goes.
This was modelled during a time where I thought plastic welding with a soldering iron was the best way for any joining operation - so you might encouter some butt-joints. Apart from that anything that isn't screwed together can most likely also be glued.
The tracks use a load of M2 bolts with a nut on the inside.
The dozer blade is optional. For the 'articulation' I just hot glued a servo into the cab and ran a wire from the servo horn to the blade. The blade would constantly be pulled down by a tension spring so the servo would only have to do the lifting work. This works okayish for snow and course dirt but you won't be able to dump everything due to the closed bottom/flat design on the blade.

→ so in hindsight I would do a lot of things differently now but the model still works very well and is one of the most reliable one I have - even with all the early development quirks.

For the motor and gearbox I bought this Gearbox originally made for the Henglong 3898 Sherman.

For the remote I used a cheap 6 Channel one that isn't available anymore.
ESC is also a pretty basic 2 Channel one from Amazon.
Battery is your standard 2S Lipo like this one.

Other than that there isn't much to add from my side.
