Información del modelo
Descripción
This model serves as a generic base designed for various adaptations on the Sunlu S2. Its primary purpose is to move a filament sensor closer to the Sunlu S2 printer.
Practical uses include mounting a filament sensor, specifically the version designed for the CR-10S Pro. However, the author notes that this specific version may not be perfectly aligned for all sensors. The base is designed to be used with Voron M3 inserts, though this can be modified.
Included parts
- Adapter.stl
- adapter.step
Printing and assembly guidance:
The author reports that the fit is very tight and snaps into place. Because the design is tight and may require alignment adjustments, the author provides the .step file to allow users to modify the holes for a custom, adaptable base. If using the design as-is, the author advises adding at least 0.5-1mm to the extended arm and fixing the hole distance. Additionally, changing all holes by 0-1mm may assist with alignment, though the design does not add pressure to the filament itself.

update!!!!!

after a few days, i hate it, the design is awful, and honestly i will just not deleted it because, i think even a mistake is a learned experience, and someone might find some use on it.

but do not use this design as it is, if you decide to try it out, add at least 0.5-1mm on arm extended, and fix the hole distance.

i did this one because i wanted to move the filament sensor closer to sunlu s2, it snapes in place and it it's really tight, i am putting the specific model i used for cr-10s pro, it's not perfectly aligned but i do not want to waste more filament, i think if you change all holes by 0-1 mm it will align but it does not add any pressure into the filament in itself.

it's done to be use with the voron inserts m3, but you can change it anyway you want.

however this base fits so well and so tight that i am letting you guys have the .step file, this way you can change the holes and do anything you need to have a good adaptable base for any type of adaptation on sunlu s2
