Purpose
This model was originally created for FRC Team 6996's Koala Mascot, which is located on the side of their robot.
Practical Uses
Designed to be secured via a zip tie, the model features a slot compatible with zip ties measuring 4.7mm wide and 1.2mm thick. It includes a specific internal area for the zip tie head to rest. The author advises "Safety FIRST!"
Included Parts
The download includes the following files:
- Koala Mascot Helmet.3mf
- Pre-sliced .gcode and .bgcode files for i3 Mk3, Mk4s, Core One, and XL printers using 0.4mm nozzles and eSun PLA+.
Printing and Assembly Guidance
The recommended print profile uses a 0.025mm layer height and 5% Grid Infill. The author recommends using variable layer height for the rim of the helmet, noting that printing time will vary depending on whether this setting is enabled.
