Model information
Description
Ender 3 S1 Sprite Extruder CR Touch Adjustable Zero Y Offset Mount
Purpose
This model is an adjustable mount designed to achieve a perfect zero offset for the CR Touch. It was created to address inaccuracies in printer calibration and to provide a more convenient solution than repeatedly disassembling the extruder from the carriage.
Practical Uses
It is used on the Ender 3 S1 with a Sprite Extruder to allow for fine-tuning the Y offset of the CR Touch. To assist with alignment, the designer recommends printing a small circle (such as a resized cylinder from Cura) in the center of the print bed to serve as a guide for lining up the sensor.
Included Parts
- S1 CR Touch Zero Offset Mount.stl
- S1 CR Touch Zero Offset Arm.stl
Assembly Guidance
Assembly requires four M3 screws and four M3 hex nuts, in addition to the two original screws. The designer recommends placing two washers under the adjustable section of the arm to ensure it holds more evenly.
