Model information
Description
DJI RC2 Remote - Mountain Bike Handlebar Mount
Purpose
This model provides a solution for attaching a DJI RC2 remote to mountain bike handlebars. It is designed to offer a sturdier mounting option for remote controllers during outdoor activities.
Practical Uses
Designed for use on 35mm handlebars. The author has tested the mount during rock rolls and other activities, noting it held up well, though it has not been tested on super hard trail rides. For 31.8mm bars, the author suggests using a similar Garmin-style mount that utilizes two screws to allow for mount replacement.
Included Parts
- DJI Mount v5.4.stl
- GoPro Garmin Mount Adapter v1.3.stl
Printing and Assembly Guidance
The author recommends printing the model laying down with the GoPro mount facing up. Suggested print settings include using PETG with 40% Gyroid infill and 8 perimeters. Supports should be used everywhere, but the author recommends painting the supports off the GoPro mount to ensure easier removal. For assembly, the author recommends using GoPro-style mounts equipped with a rubber stopper to prevent slipping. Metric screws are required for attaching the mount to the remote.

I printed this laying down with the GoPro mount facing up. I used PETg with 40% (Gyroid) infill and 8 perimeters. I printed with supports everywhere, but painted the supports off the GoPro mount. It seemed like when I had the supports on there it would be tough to get them out and because of the angle it prints fine. I'll link the set of metric screws I used for attaching it to the remote. I use 35mm bars so the mount I have linked is for that. If you have 31.8 you'll have to look for a similar product. Basically you just want a Garmin style mount that has the two screws that you can replace the mount. I haven't taken this on a super hard trail ride to see if holds up. But did some rock rolls and other stuff and it seemed to hold up just fine. I also recommend using the GoPro sytle mounts with the rubber stopper to ensure it doesn't slip out of the mount.

Metric Screws: https://amzn.to/3Hn77Oa
35mm Handlebar Mount: https://amzn.to/47yildb
