Descripción publicada
Purpose: This adapter lowers the hotend to ensure compatibility with default part cooling. According to the author, this positioning allows the hotend fan to blow air directly to the radiator rather than the heatblock.
Practical Uses: Designed for use with the Dragonfly BMS hotend on a CR-200B printer.
Included Parts:
- Dragonfly adapter.stl
- Dragonfly adapter.step
Hardware Needed:
- Stock CR-200B hotend screws to attach the adapter to the toolhead
- Stock Dragonfly BMS screws to attach the hotend to the adapter
- 2pcs M3x5x4 heat inserts (voron-like)
Printing/Assembly Guidance:
Reorient the model in the slicer so the larger side with four holes is at the bottom. Use high-temperature materials such as ABS or ASA; the author advises against using PLA and suggests avoiding PETG. Print with a 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm extrusion width, 4 walls, and 5 solid top/bottom layers. Use an infill of 20% or more with any infill type. No supports or rafts are required.
