Description
CR-10 V2 Metal Dual Gear Extruder Runout Sensor Adaptor
Purpose
This adapter plate is designed to align the CR-10 V2 runout sensor with a metal frame dual gear extruder. It addresses the issue where common metal frame dual gear extruders (such as the Redrex brand) have a filament input hole that is positioned higher and slightly off-center compared to a standard Creality extruder.
Practical Uses
This model is used to reposition the runout sensor so that it correctly aligns with the filament path of specific aftermarket metal frame dual gear extruders on a CR-10 V2 printer.
Included Parts
The model is provided in two distinct versions to accommodate different hardware preferences:
- One version features countersunk holes, designed to mount to the CR-10 using four M3x12 flat head screws.
- The second version features counterbore holes, designed to mount using four M3x8 button head or cap screws.
Assembly Guidance
The runout sensor mounts directly to the plate using the stock screws, which thread into the plate itself.
