Description
Side closure plate for the Tamiya Monster Beetle battery housing, 2015 re-edition. The author replaced the ribbed inner face with a flat surface to accommodate their battery, which was about 4 mm longer than the space available with the original plates. This measurement describes their specific case and does not guarantee an identical expansion in other units.
Preparation, compatibility, and printing
The source suggests PETG or PLA and considers increasing the infill to 100% around the holes. Check the length and width of your battery before printing and ensure that the plate or screws do not press against the casing. Check the closure and cable routing with the equipment turned off; do not force a battery that is still too large.

Custom (flat backed) battery holder edge plate for Tamiya Monster Beatle (2015 re-release)
PETG or PLA, can increase too 100% infill around bolt holes.
My batteries just happen to be about 4mm to long for the stock battery holder end plates because they are ribbed on both sides... so this plate is flat backed and looks, I think, kinda cool.
I included the stock red triangle shape end plate in the photos for reference.
