Description
A handle designed to accept a 17 mm impact socket for tightening 1:8 scale RC car wheels. The author states the handle feels good due to its weight and rigidity. The body is intended to be printed with PLA using 4 wall lines for robustness. The cover can be printed in TPU for a better touch and protection, though the author notes PLA or ABS can also be used for the cover if TPU is unavailable.

<h3>17 mm Impact Socket Handle for RC Car Wheels</h3><p> </p><p>I always wanted to have one of those <strong>fancy colourful impact driver sockets</strong> to tighten my <strong>1:8 RC car wheels</strong>. Thats why i made this handle to accept a impact socket. It just <strong>feels great</strong> in your hand because of the <strong>weight and rigidity.</strong> </p><p>The <strong>cover is made out of TPU</strong> to feel a bit <strong>nicer to the touch</strong> and also to <strong>protect it</strong>, should you drop it. If you don't have TPU on hand, <strong>you can also use PLA or ABS</strong> to print the cover.</p><p>The body itself is made of <strong>PLA with 4 wall lines</strong>, so its pretty robust. </p><p><strong>Hardware needed:</strong></p><ul><li>M5 x 50mm Bolt </li><li>M5 Nut</li><li>17mm Impact Socket</li><li>Threadlock <i>(optional)</i></li></ul><p>I used a "Geodore" brand socket, but others should still work fine. <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Titan-Tools-21091-Non-Marring-Socket/dp/B009TCBKJ0/">Here's one on Amazon (not tested but looks like it should fit!).</a></p>
