CC - CYD Centauri Carbon Monitor Modification
A modification of the CC MINI.STL file provided with the Centauri Carbon printer to hold a 2.8" Cheap Yellow Display (CYD). The author added holes in the front to mount a CYD flush with the face of the case and a hole for a USB cable to exit from the back. The design includes an extended top with a riser and a "glass" cover. Files included: - cc-monitor-ldr: case with hole for LDR (or LED on newer model CYDs) - cc-monitor-plain: basic case without a hole for the LDR/LED - cc-riser-logo: riser with Elegoo logo - cc-riser: plain riser (no logo) - glass: cover with handle (the author suggests changing color for the handle after 0.4mm, if desired) Hardware required: - Right-angle USB (shown are a USB-micro right-angle cable assembly, and a USB-C right-angle adapter with a standard USB-C cable. Note: DO NOT power your CYD with 2 cables at once!!) - 6mm M3 bolts (2) - M3 nuts (2) Printing instructions: - Everything needs supports. - The glass cover is designed at 0.4mm thick and printed as two 0.2mm layers. - The author reports that printing very slowly with a small layer height (e.g., 0.1mm) may result in a clearer transparent handle. If the glass cover and riser are not used, the author notes it makes an informative pencil holder.
