Author Description · Vlad Dogarescu (Printables) BMW CE 04 Wheel Logo Adapter A simple 3D-printable adapter that allows you to install a 68 mm BMW wheel emblem on the BMW CE 04, giving the wheels a much more finished, classic BMW look. I originally designed this for my own CE 04 because I felt the stock wheel hubs looked a little too plain. After a few hours of 3D modeling, the first print worked perfectly. What you need - The included 3D-printed adapter - 68 mm BMW wheel emblem/logo - Suitable screws/fasteners for mounting Standard 68 mm BMW emblems are widely available online and are relatively inexpensive. Printing The model is straightforward to print and does not require any particularly exotic settings or materials. For something mounted this close to the wheel and exposed to heat, water and sunlight, I recommend PETG, ASA or ABS rather than PLA. Installation The adapter mounts to the existing wheel hub and provides a holder for the\n68 mm BMW emblem. No permanent modification to the scooter is required. Optional: Floating BMW Logo You can also use a 68 mm floating/self-leveling BMW wheel emblem, which keeps the BMW logo upright while the wheel rotates. These look great, but they are considerably more expensive than standard emblems. Compatibility Designed specifically for the BMW CE 04.
