For the LEGO 42129 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck set, the author provides an alternative build (MOC-88360). To address issues where the steering mechanism falls apart due to light gray 4x1x2/3 liftarms pressing against an adjacent beam, the author created four custom 3D-printed parts. These parts are the same length as the original liftarms but narrower to prevent them from pressing against the beam. The author reports that this fix works perfectly and prevents steering problems.

The author suggests the following print and build tips: Print the shell with 3-4 perimeters to ensure the screw holes for the joysticks do not strip. The main body may require "Tree Supports" for the joystick cutouts. For wiring, the author recommends using a small piece of protoboard to centralize the Ground and VCC rails for the joysticks and LCD.

Landy Mini RC

A 3D printed Landy Mini scaled at 125% with a modified chassis to adapt the mechanics of a WPL-C24 and its available metal upgrades. The author reports that all holes are compatible with the assembly kit screws. The motor compartment can accommodate two 18650 batteries in a 2s1p configuration. The seats are hollow to allow electronics to be placed inside. The author notes this is an evolving project. Print instructions: Material: PLA. Chassis and interiors: 0.20 mm layer height. Body: 0.16 mm layer height, no supports; simply place the STL files as with the Landy Mini printing.
